Vote on New school intercom system- Mr. Leech
He presented a proposal for an intercom system to allow the front office to better communicate with each of the classrooms, especially the portables.  Our current system is very poor quality and unreliable.  An intercom system would also allow students to be in their own classroom for morning assembly allowing for teaching to start more promptly.  He presented a unit called AlertWave by Visiplex for a total of $7979.  (please see attached hand-out for details or go to https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3lcMahsaVqDOF9Jel9LeUdDVnc/view?usp=sharing).  The PTO members were in agreement of the immediate need and benefit from such a unit, but would like to be provided with more comparison options, including the possibility of renting a unit.  The PTO would also would like to contact RES and see if they would price match to help purchase this unit.

Vote on World’s Finest Chocolates- Shantel
Voted in favor for 1st and 2nd graders to sell them to benefit the purchase of an intercom system.  These will be sold the week of Valentine’s Day.
